Ok, I saw the movie. Lots of it had to do with strange noises, in the walls..footsteps banging. And I realized I could have made a movie about my apartment!!
Especially the time not too long ago where behind the wall was the worst kind of banging noise it sounded like someone was kicking through the wall and my downstairs neighbor came up and we just stared blankly at eachother.
The movie was different, felt like a home movie. Very low budget, no effects. Just a few good jumps in your chair and something to think about when you switch off the light that night.
Now I did see another trailer for 2012

I've been so psyched to see this movie for months now and it's going to be amazing because whether the plot stinks or not I love big disaster films. And the effects look superb! Looks like a big huge budget film with lots of explosions, some corny comedic moments...oh so hollywood. Gotta love it

You really want to watch "2012" eh? After all what better way to lift your spirits than some movie sized bite of impending doom... Or that is just me...:).
The effects look awesome so I will go see it at some point as well.
As for paranormal activity I've seen the trailer, they seem to be going for that Blair Witch Project vibe. I am sure it is good overated low budget fun.
Try out 'REC'(spanish movie, need subtitles, try something different) for a good scare. Just go with the original version if you can and not the US "Quarantine" one, although they are probably identical.

Oh did I mention I saw 2010 finally? Ehh, lots of stuff destroyed but man they sure made it a boring end of the world..LOL But it was still a good "popcorn" flick nonetheless
