Ramblings, just like the old days

Ok maybe too much red dye. Ever seen a street cone? That's how it came out of the bottle, and because I sit in the sun all day at work my hair is A-BLAZE.

Ugh my hand just woke up, didn't realize it was asleep. It's that awful tingling that makes you nausious. You know i've lived on this planet for over 30 years and i STILL cannot spell natious. lol

diahhrea. nope can't spell that either according to the blogger spellcheck.

Well now that i've gotten this post off to a good start. While I have a bajillion things to complain about work I'm going to leave that out. I was very good today and ate a salad and power bar, unfortunately all my money is going back into my company in the cafeteria. Ah the irony of pouring all my hard earned cash back into my employers pocket. Or maybe that's stupidity. Probably the latter since my drawer is filled with food I bought at the store. It's hard to resist tho.

I have fans.

It's a surreal thing that I make these youtube videos and have actual fans, who send me personal messages like i'm some celeb. I guess i made their day with my videos but jesus..lol I remember when I used to log on daily to find the only hits to my videos were my own. It's a weird world we live in to know you don't even have to leave your own house and you can let the world into your life. Well the blog never took off but then it's always been sort of a personal diary/venting/garbage disposal. I think blogging has gone by the wayside since now everyone is 'twittering', which I kind of hate.

And the reason why is because we have evolved into a society that does not really communicate, which is ironic because we have all these 'communication tools'. But the way we communicate is not really what I consider conversation that matter. They're abbreviated texting 'ltr'.
They're sharing a short snippet of your thoughts. THe art of communication is dead. I used to think it died with email as writing a handwritten letter is no longer done anymore but at least with emails and blogs we are more detailed and considerate (to some extent) of what we write.

THink about how many teens you know who will sit in a room full of their own friends even, and not talk to a one while they sit there texting. I wonder if in 50 years the presidental address to the nation will be a text message.


And this morning I saw the oscar nominees. Ok I'm really not liking how they change things. First it's the date it airs and then it's making MORE categories for nominees. I don't want 8 best picture nominees when we all know half of them are a joke and will never win. "District 9", really? I saw that movie and it was pretty good, fairly original, but no way in hell it even stands a chance so why bother? God if Avatar wins I just may never watch the Oscars again

PS: LOST was 3 hours.
Thanks ABC for FINALLY bringing LOST back on the air after almost a year, sticking it on a random Tuesday night slot and postponing my shower as well as making me shout out loud "WTH, they didn't crash?!"
